 For the first time we have an outdoor Christmas Ice Rink next to the balloon, right outside the Whitehall Hotel in the Lower Gardens. Open until 6 January 2013.

 Held in the heart of  Bournemouth in the Town Square the Bournemouth Christmas Festival is a festive extravaganza bursting at the seams with Christmas ambience. With a beautiful traditional Christmas tree, a German charcoal BBQ with classic sausages, roasted chestnuts as well as the alpine chalet bar, carol singers, festive stalls and the traditional Victorian style carousel. The festival runs until 24 December 2012 then after Christmas until 2 January 2013.

We are very excited about this year’s Pantomime Sleeping Beauty at the Pavilion theatre from 8 December 2012 until 6 January 2013.  The stars include Su Pollard, CBBC’s Chris Jarvis and only just back from I’m a celebrity get me out of here, Colin Baker.

We are proud to be one of the patrons of the 2012 Bournemouth Air Festival from Thursday 30 August to Sunday 2 September 2012. It’s a top-notch line up at the fifth annual Air Festival with appearances from the Red Arrows, Sea Vixen, Miss Demeanour, Hunter Jet and Breitling Wingwalkers – amongst a host of others. New and not to be missed is a historic re-enactment involving a Catalina, ME 109, Spitfire and P-51 Mustang.

Displaying this year are the Red Arrows (Thursday and Saturday), Chinook, BBMF, Tucano, Black Cats, SWIP Team, Solo Lynx, Vulcan, Hawk, Sea Vixen, Tornado GR-4 duo and the Tigers Parachute Display Team.

From the seafront, through the Gardens and to the Town Centre, there’ll be plenty going on. On the seafront there’s 1.5 miles of Festival site jam-packed with ground displays, interactive military villages, county show trading stalls and entertainment.

On Thursday and Friday evenings Bournemouth seafront will be glowing, as the fantastic dusk air displays dazzle with a spectacular array of aerobatics and pyrotechnics.
