Driving Directions

Approaching Bournemouth on the A338 (Wessex Way) follow signs to Town Centre West and BIC (Bournemouth International Centre).

From the A338 junction continue on the B3066 following signs to the BIC travelling along Durley Chine Road turning left at the roundabout into West Cliff Road and then onto Priory Road down a hill to a mini roundabout. As you approach this roundabout (facing the Royal Exeter Hotel with the BIC and the seafront on your right) turn left then immediately right into Exeter Park Road. The Whitehall Hotel is on your left as you reach the crescent.

By Coach

National Express Coaches www.nationalexpress.com serve Bournemouth Travel Interchange, Boscombe and Westbourne. There are frequent departures to London Victoria Coach Station and also direct services to the West Country, Sussex coast (Brighton and Eastbourne), Bristol, Birmingham and the Midlands, the North West, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland.

National Express Airport Coaches serve Heathrow Airport with connections to Gatwick and Stansted and other airports.

Megabus, a ‘No Frills’ coach service connects Bournemouth University and the Triangle in the Town Centre with London Greenline Coach Station.

By Rail

Bournemouth is well served by the rail network with two railway stations in the Borough - the main Bournemouth station and Pokesdown to the East.

South West Trains - www.southwesttrains.co.uk operates a comprehensive service to London Waterloo with a journey time of as little as 97 minutes. This line also serves Southampton, Winchester and Basingstoke to the East, with Poole, Wareham, Dorchester and Weymouth to the West.

Virgin Trains - www.virgin.com/trains serve destinations to the North with direct trains to Reading, Oxford, Birmingham & the Midlands, Manchester and the Northwest, Yorkshire (Sheffield, Leeds, York), Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow in Scotland.

South Central Trains - www.southcentraltrains.co.uk South Central Trains ‘West-Coastway’ services are available by changing at Southampton Central. The Sussex Coastal towns of Chichester, Worthing, Hove and Brighton are served and trains continue to Gatwick Airport and London Victoria.
