Indoor Bowling Clubs

• Bournemouth Indoor Bowling Centre – our local indoor bowls centre located just a mile or two from the hotel.  Situated in Kings Park, home of Bournemouth AFC football ground.  The club has 8 rinks with excellent viewing areas and a bar. We (at Bowlaway) appreciate the efforts made by the club and its members to accommodate our many requests for friendly matches. The catering is high quality and the facilities are excellent.  There is on-site parking.

• Dolphin Indoor Bowls Club, Poole - one of the largest indoor bowls clubs in the country with 11 indoor rinks. Dolphin IBC is wholly owned and managed by the members for the benefit of its members.  It is a fantastic facility – but it can be difficult to arrange a friendly fixture due to the clubs commitments to leagues and members sessions. Attractive bar, lounge and viewing area and good sized car park.

• East Dorset Indoor Bowling Club, Christchurch – A purpose built indoor bowling centre with 6 rinks situated around 5 miles to the east of Bournemouth (just beyond Christchurch town centre next to the Riversmeet Leisure Centre).  Run by bowlers for bowlers to offer a friendly, popular and happy club.  Parking is in the Pay and Display – so don’t forget to buy a ticket or you won’t be very happy!

• Dorchester Bowling Club – located around 40 miles north of Bournemouth it is the perfect club to visit on your arrival or departure day.  A warm welcome is assured at this purpose built club which has an outdoor green as well as 6 indoor rinks.

• Moonfleet Indoor Bowling Club, Weymouth – located around 25 miles to the west of Bournemouth, this club offers a superb 6 rink facility. With an excellent club house and ample parking for cars and coach.  It is based at the Marsh Sports Ground on the edge of Weymouth.
