UK Dance Championships in Bournemouth

The UK Dance Championships arrive in Bournemouth later this month. The three day event takes place at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from 18th – 20th January. It is the 26th time the event has come to Bournemouth, attracting Ballroom and Latin dancers from all over the world.

A free exhibition also runs alongside the competitions from Tuesday 1pm-7pm and Wednesday until Thursday from 9.30am-8pm.

The UK Dance Championships 2011 begin with the amateur UK Rising Stars Championships which take place on Tuesday 18th January. This is followed by the UK Dance Championships on 19th and 20th January.

There are day and evening sessions for both Championships, bookable through the BIC box office or by visiting the ticket office in person. Prices to watch the daytime sessions are £14 per person. The evening dance competitions on 19th and 20th January start at 7.30pm, with ticket prices from £18.
